Following the news that Simple Energy was chosen as one of the semifinalists out of over 150 applicants for the Utility Technology Challenge, we are very excited to announce that we have now advanced to the final round, which includes an invitation to present at the Clean Technology Conference of TechConnect World. Presenters have the opportunity to compete for awards including one of three prizes totaling $100,000 in demonstration funds.
Organizing partners of the event and competition include the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI), Arsenal Venture Partners, Anaheim Center for New Energy Technologies, Austin Energy, Constellation Energy, DOE, Fraunhofer TechBridge, Kauffman Foundation, National Grid, Northeast Utilities, Shell GameChanger, Southern California Edison, and TechConnect.
CTSI and their partners sought companies and technologies from around the globe focused on cleaner and more environmentally sustainable energy solutions. The technologies with the best balance of stage of development, potential impact, cost and ease of implementation were selected as finalists, and Simple Energy is honored to be included.
